1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Ziatan LLC (“Ziatan,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the website kineticfiber.us (the “Site”) and the sales support we provide by phone.

Ziatan LLC is an independent, authorized retailer of Kinetic by Windstream. We help customers learn about, compare, and order Kinetic Internet, TV, and Home Phone services. Ziatan is not Kinetic, Windstream, or a telecommunications carrier, and we do not own or operate any telecommunications network. Kinetic services are provided by Windstream.

This policy applies only to kineticfiber.us. It does not apply to websites operated by Kinetic, Windstream, or other third parties.

2. Information We Collect

We collect a limited amount of information, only as needed to respond to inquiries and to help facilitate service orders with Kinetic as an authorized retailer:

  • Information you provide. When you submit a form on the Site or speak with our team by phone, you may give us your name, service address, email address, and telephone number, along with details about the services you are interested in.
  • Call recordings. We record inbound calls, and outbound calls we place to follow up, for quality assurance, training, compliance, and dispute-resolution purposes. Callers are notified that calls are recorded.
  • Automatically collected information. When you visit the Site, we and our analytics providers may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit, using cookies and similar technologies.

We do not ask for, and we ask that you do not provide, sensitive information such as Social Security numbers or payment card numbers. The Site does not process payments. If sensitive information is shared with us inadvertently, we take steps to redact it.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • respond to your questions and requests;
  • help you compare Kinetic plans and facilitate your service order with Kinetic;
  • contact you about your inquiry, including limited follow-up calls to numbers that have contacted us;
  • operate, maintain, and improve the Site;
  • monitor and improve the quality of our customer service; and
  • comply with applicable laws and protect our legal rights.

4. Cookies and Analytics

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for functionality and to understand how visitors use the Site. We may use third-party analytics services that set their own cookies and process data under their own privacy policies.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only as follows:

  • With Kinetic by Windstream. To facilitate and fulfill your service order, we share the information necessary to process your request with Kinetic/Windstream. Once your order is transferred to Kinetic, Kinetic’s own privacy policy and terms govern the personal and payment information you provide to Kinetic.
  • With service providers. We may share information with vendors who perform services for us, such as hosting, telephony, and analytics, who may use the information only to provide those services.
  • For legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Ziatan, our customers, or others.

6. Call Recording

Calls to and from Ziatan may be monitored or recorded. Where required by law, callers are informed at the beginning of the call. Recordings are used for quality assurance, training, compliance, and dispute resolution.

7. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. Call recordings are retained for up to five (5) years. Contact information used for follow-up is retained for a limited period and then deleted.

8. Data Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, including access controls, encryption of stored data where appropriate, network security measures, and ongoing monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

You may contact us at any time using the details in Section 12 to ask about the information we hold about you, to request corrections, or to ask us to delete information. We will respond as required by applicable law.

Telephone follow-up. If you do not wish to receive follow-up calls from us, you may tell us during any call or contact us using the details below, and we will honor your request.

California residents. Ziatan LLC is based in California. To the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, applies to us, California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to request deletion of personal information; to request correction of inaccurate personal information; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 12.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page.
